2024 UPDATE

We no longer take bookings so it's just first in best dressed. We do a breakfast (Johnny cakes and billy tea) from 8am then a reptile show (People get to hold reptiles) from 9 so open reception at 10am. If you arrive early, you can queue up and join in the breakfast and animals handling (Hold numerous snakes, lizards and turtles.

Katherine is a little over one hour away and there is also a free camp 55km north (King River). Daly Waters Pub is two hours south, Larrimah Hotel less than an hour and there is a free camp 35km south (Warlock) as well. These options give you a much better chance of getting here early and obtaining a site. We restrict our camp to 30 sites and most people stay for a few days so we have limited space. Feel free to ring a day or so before to gauge how busy we are!

CARAVAN & CAMPING SITES

POWERED and UN-POWERED SITES

Please arrive after 10am and before 5pm

In the mornings we are busy with a bushman's breakfast and then showing reptiles till about 10 am so we are unable to book people in before 10am.

The Little Roper Stockcamp has a choice of both powered and up-powered camping. We have an amenities block as well as washing machines. For cooking purposes, you are welcome to cook on the communal fire, which is lit every night at 5pm or we have a BBQ for customer use. There is also a sink for washing up but no camp kitchen.

Powered is $40

Un-powered is $30

Extra adults (above 2) are $10 each

Single adults are $15 per unpowered site

Kids are free!

MOONLIGHT SWAGS

If you would like to experience the bush on a cool dry season night, then grab yourself one of our double or single swags. Bedding supplied, all that needs to be done is roll it out under the stars and fall asleep to the sounds of the bush.
